About Me – Rob

Thanks for stopping by! Roam Fourth is more than a business—it’s a creative extension of who I am. Born and raised in the cornfields of Indiana, I grew up with a deep connection to the outdoors, nurtured by my father. From long days and nights on the Appalachian Trail to exploring the Smoky Mountains, paddling through rivers in a canoe, and discovering the wonders of the Red River Gorge as a Boy Scout, my love for adventure and the natural world has been a constant force in my life.

This drive, combined with a relentless curiosity and a passion for showcasing people’s stories and vocations, has fueled my career in visual media.

My journey as a creative producer began with a childhood obsession: making stop-motion Lego films. This hobby evolved over the years, leading to editing YouTube videos for gaming channels in the mid-2010s, some of which had audiences surpassing a million subscribers. I spent countless late nights in my room, developing my craft—much to the dismay of my parents! Those formative experiences cultivated a love for tech, software, and storytelling that still drives me today.

Fast-forward 10 years, and while my passions have grown and my skills have expanded, I still find joy in tackling exciting creative projects. Whether I’m collaborating with a forward-thinking business owner, tech developer, or cybersecurity expert, I thrive on solving complex problems and bringing ideas to life. My personal journey through diverse industries has taught me that creativity is as much about the process as it is about the results.

I’m proud to carry on a legacy of innovation as a third-generation entrepreneur. My great-grandfather, Robert M. Bowes, was a prolific inventor who revolutionized tire repair technology in the 1900s, founding The Bowes Seal-Fast Corporation in 1919. His bold ideas and forward-thinking spirit built the foundation for a successful business and pushed his industry to evolve. I approach creativity with the same philosophy—pushing boundaries and creating work that challenges conventions and shapes the future of visual media.

The impact of my work speaks for itself. From helping sell millions of dollars in services and products to building campaigns that have amassed millions of views across publications, news outlets, and magazines, I’ve kept up with the fast-paced evolution of this industry. I’ve collaborated with iconic Western brands and creators like Paul Cauthen, YETI, whiskey labels, and more—work that aligns perfectly with my passion for bold storytelling and grounded authenticity.

After stints working in a mountaineering in Washington State at Mt. Rainier and a rafting guide in Montana outside Yellowstone Park, I was drawn to Bozeman—a place that perfectly balances my love for the outdoors and the peace to explore my creativity. Growing up, I always dreamed of moving west to embrace the active mountain lifestyle, and Montana has delivered that and more. The state’s culture inspires me with its rugged individualism and connection to nature. Here, people don’t rely on handouts—they choose this lifestyle because it’s hard, rewarding, and deeply rooted in freedom and self-reliance. Living and working in Montana pushes me to try harder, work smarter, and stay true to the values that drew me here.

Roam Fourth’s creative ethos is rich, bold, and deeply rooted in Western heritage. My work celebrates the stories of those who push boundaries and carve their own paths. At Roam Fourth, I aim to create things that connect people, tell authentic stories, and open doors for businesses and individuals alike.

I live to explore, create, and tell timeless stories.
